The Alexander Mitchell Public Library will be hosting a Humanities Reading Series this Spring themed “Against All Odds.”  Titles to be discussed will be The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Great American Dust Bowl by Timothy Egan and The River of Doubt: Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey by Candice Millard.  A scholar from the community will facilitate discussion of selected works.  

Participants will meet the 3rd Wednesday of February, March and April at 7pm at the 
Public Library.  Registration is required at the library. For more information or to register please call 626-7097.

Registration is required and interested readers can sign up for the series at the Public Library.  A limited number of books are available for check out at the library or participants may purchase their own copy at the Little Professor Book Center in the Lakewood Mall.
